This afternoon, in between running loads of stuff to the apartment, I sat in a chair reading a new book with a cat on my lap and listening to my husband sing a twenty-minute rendition of Beethoven's 1812 Overture to Connor entirely in chicken noises.
This, in my opinion, is perhaps the perfect way to spend late afternoon on a Sunday. I also got to eat chocolate ice cream after dinner-- the kind with the thick swirls of fudge in the middle. How could the day possibly get any better?
The 1812 Overture converts very well to chicken noises, by the way. Try it.

I hope you are rock free in both ear and nose :) I love your pictures, and thanks for the comment!
I was definitely singing a classical piece of some sort in my head with chicken noises before and while navigating to your page. GAH! Now it's driving me nuts trying to think of what the piece is - not the 1812 overture, but that's still completely and totally ridiculous. I feel like it's been featured in some parade scene in a movie(s) - minus the chicken noises, of course.
I don't even have the excuse of singing in chicken noises to a child. I am however being driven more and more insane by a Computer Science project I'm working on. Maybe that's to blame.
Well, now I've a chicken bok-bokking in my head.
I'm happy to hear that you had a nice, uneventful day!
Sounds fabulous! Especially the 1812 Overture (by Tchaiboksky, of course).
