That is one determined and brave man. I could tell from the sound that it must've been really challenging for Jer, but he did awesome! Such great progress!

Okay you totally made me cry and I'm sick and hormonal and sleep-deprived because my youngest is also sick and there was An Incident involving Mucinex Mini-Melts (those little beads...) and a mic-key extension at 3 a.m. so technically I think I should be mad but OMG GO JER!!! So awesome.

Fabulous!! Can you ask him, does it hurt a LOT to walk??? Does he need to use painkillers, or are his feet/soles mainly numb now?

I just keep thinking of your descriptions of thousands of little bits of bones... and then thinking of STEPPING on that makes me wince, literally.

Whoooohoooooo!!!!! I'm assuming that the loud clicking noise was your heart beating, because that's just about as loud as mine was while watching that -- so moving! Give the man a hug and a pain pill and as vigorous a high-five as he can tolerate after all that exertion.

A lot of inner strength, determination, and hard work went into those steps. Way to go, Jer!
