Great! There's an organization, I think sponsored by Sears, that helps make houses accessible for folks injured in combat. Someone on base ought to know about it.
Congratulations!!! Ever since I was in college, I've had this recurring dream, usually when I'm approaching a transition. The dream always involves looking for a new place to live, finding it, moving in, etc. The two themes in the dream are always the stress/anxiety of having to find a place and move, together with the excitement of deciding where to put that lamp, getting new drapes, etc. Moving seems to be a metaphor in mind for every transition in life, with those two qualities of stress/anxiety and excitement about new opportunities.
I'm Connor's Mom. That pretty much explains everything. I mean, raising the epicenter of cuteness in the universe is tough, but it has its moments, all right.
I should probably mention that Connor has a submicroscopic, subtelomeric unbalanced translocation 46xy der t(1)(1;15)(q42;q26.2)-- an extremely rare chromosomal disorder. He keeps me on my toes!
